OBD-II adapter for Tesla Model 3. All you need is our adapter, an OBD-II tool and software to start diagnosing / scanning your vehicle. With our adapter you will be able to connect between the two proprietary Tesla connectors. You can then start to diagnose your vehicle from the OBD-II port with your OBD-II tool and software. Our adapter will work with any OBD-II tool on the market. There are a wide range of scan tools from wireless, USB to Bluetooth connection. Just make sure the tool supports CAN bus protocol. Will work on all Model 3 January 2019 and before. If you need after January 2019, please see our other listing. It uses a different cable.Made, designed, tested and shipped from our warehouse in California USA. Approximately 12 inches long.

This is for all the “do it yourselfers” out there. As you may already know, the Model 3 is equipped with its own proprietary diagnostic data connector. We are now offering the cable to connect your car to any OBD-II diagnostic tool of your choice. With our cable and a diagnostic tool, you can access and diagnose your car at home by yourself. No more bringing it to the dealer for costly diagnostic fees. Our cable will connect to all Model 3 before January 2019. If you need a cable for after January 2019, please see our other listing. Some of the features you will be able to access are battery capacity, battery voltage, drive train output, HVAC and much more. Save hundreds or thousands by doing this at home yourself with our cable. An application software and OBD-II diagnostic hardware tool is required to use our cable. Here are a few examples of what is available currently: ScanMyTesla (android), TMSpy for android or IOS. Both should work with an ELM327, STN11100 or equivalent OBD-II Bluetooth adapter. Be sure the version you use supports CAN bus protocol and ST command. This listing is just for the cable to connect to your car to the diagnostic tool. Nothing else will be included. We do not provide any support for the app or offer any free access. The location of the diagnostic cable on your Model 3 is at the rear of the center console. You can access by removing the rear panel from the rear passenger foot well area. The panel is below the air vents and USB ports. Once the panel is removed, you will have access to the connector that needs to be disengaged. Our cable will need to be connected between the two connectors from your Model 3. Once that is done, you may use your diagnostic to access the data you need. Please note: Make sure your car is shut down before doing any trouble shooting. It could take up to 15 minutes to completely shut down. Refer to your owner’s manual for more details.
